Parents And Child's Learning And Development

Every child is unique in his or her own special way. Children differ in color and race. Each child has different set of finger prints. Even if they are twins! They also learn and develop at different speed and pace. It is true that they go through the same order of development. However, each child differs on the length of time they spend on each development stage.

Parents are very important and they play special roles in child's learning and development. Parents are considered as the child's first teachers. They are the ones who should introduce the child into the world in the most creative and educational way. Since parents are considered as teachers, parents should expose their children to age appropriate challenges to help children experience and to explore the world. Parents can show their children new places through pictures or by exposing them to the environment. There are many ways parents can teach their children by use of visual aids, pretend games and other instructive resources that can be found online.
